BUILD LEADERSHIP - FUTURE LEADERS OF THE WEST (FLOW)
Do you have staff members who have been identified as potential leaders, or staff who are in leadership roles but have no formal leadership training?
Since 2012, The Committee for Wyndham has facilitated the Future Leaders of the West (FLOW) program and this year's program is now open for enrolments.
Facilitated by The Gordon, FLOW is an accredited program and on successful completion participants will earn the Diploma of Leadership and Management. The program will run from July 2017 to June 2018 and involve a half day a month group session, a group community focussed project, and each participant committing to join alumni and be willing to undertake a community leadership role.
Participants will undertake group classes; work on a group community project and meet with leaders from business, government and the community. This 12-month program will develop leadership skills and prepare participants for leadership roles in your business and in the wider Wyndham community.
FLOW is a great way to develop leadership skills in your business/organisation and contribute to the next-gen leaders in the Wyndham community. Wyndham resides in the fastest growing region in Australia, and with rapid growth comes the need to ensure a strong supply of highly trained leaders to meet the needs of the region now and well into the future.
The Future Leaders of the West program offers participants the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification whilst undertaking a course of studies that will not only advance their careers, but also the communities in which they live and work. The program is unique in that it's not a series of lectures instead it is interactive discussions toward learning outcomes.
